Biography

Farah is a Muslim actor and creator. She is a graduate of the Drama Centre London and trained at the Vakhtangov Theatre in Moscow.

In addition to being an actor, she started producing in 2013 and has worked on dozens of films with her company, Lifeguard Productions. She is one of the co-founders of Women on Screen and also served as the Actra Toronto Diversity Committee co-chair.

Farah is a graduate of the Drama Centre London and the University of Toronto. She has performed on stage and on screen across North America, throughout Europe and in Russia. Some of her screen credits include: Quantum Leap on NBC, AppleTV's SEE, Shadowhunters, and Nikita, as well as the award-winning video game 'Thirsty Suitors' from Annapurna, while also being a member of the Ensemble Shakespeare Theatre in Pasadena. She was a 2023 Sundance Fellow, participating in the Episodic Lab, with one of several TV projects she's currently developing, a finalist for the 2025 Mentorship Matters program, and is a current participant of the 2025 cohort at Rideback Rise. Farah is represented by The Characters and World Builder Entertainment.
