  • Brian Elles is an American actor, known for his roles in Conditional Surrender and releases such as Let It Be War, Lambs of God, and Measured Sacrifice. On television, he plays a police officer in Chicago Fire as well as multiple roles in television commercials, music videos, and online content.

    Elles was born in Cleveland, Ohio. His father was a telecom industry sales executive and his mother was a skilled nurse.

    Elles' career began while working as an on-air anchor for the campus television station at The Ohio State University. He later decided to engulf himself in the corporate media scene while interning with Clear Channel Communications (WNCI 97.9) and CBS (WBNS 10TV). His roles and media responsibilities grew into part-time, then full-time employment. Elles' last day of class at OSU was his first day of work as Producer/Promotion Writer for the CBS affiliate WBNS 10TV Eye Witness News.

    As a professional writer, Elles conceptualized and created a television pilot (The Millenial Show) which was put into production in 2006. In 2007, Elles was the Producer/Promotion Writer for The John Parson Story, which helped WBNS 10TV Eyewitness News win the national Edward R. Murrow award for Newscast: Television Large Market.

    Elles took first place for the short-film he produced (Game Day Traditions) for Time Warner Cable 2009 Interactive Audience Contest. Since then, he wrote the feature(s) Code War, Welcome Back and Lake Shine, plus the comedic short Rick.

    He studied sketch writing at The Second City - Chicago, writes for an online column called Comics Insight for TheLaughButton.com, produces and hosts Chi-Town Podcast, and is writing a web series (Fast Food) for production in 2014.

    brian Elles performs live theater in Chicago with the comedy troupe Missing Her Kissinger at One Group Mind Theater. He is active in the acting scene and recently was the lead in two music videos for the band Taproot of Victory Records.
