Frederick Roy(III)

Frederick Roy’s path to acting has been anything but conventional. After discovering a love for performance in high school drama classes, Roy moved to Los Angeles at 18 with the intention of pursuing acting. Raised in a deeply rooted hockey family, however, he ultimately followed the pull of the sport that had shaped his upbringing.
Roy went on to play two seasons of professional hockey in the American Hockey League. Following his hockey career, he completed a law degree and was called to the bar in 2021.
He later returned to his original passion for acting, where his hockey background led to the role of Delaney in Shoresy, the Letterkenny spin-off. Roy has appeared in multiple seasons of the series and participated in the 2024 and 2025 Shoresy Classic events, where the cast competes against NHL alumni with a portion of the proceeds donated to local charities.
Roy also appears in the upcoming Crave comedy series I Kill the Bear, created by Jared Keeso. His additional television credits include Plan B (CBC) and A Wild West Christmas (Apple TV+/Crave).
