Biography

Rita Tarin is a passionate award-winning producer who quit her corporate job with the Walt Disney Studios in order to focus on film production full time. Ms. Tarin worked in the music industry for approximately 15 years with both Universal Music Group and Disney Music Group in the A&R Department. Her years of experience with artists and producers in the music world prepared her well as she now focuses on the film world. She secured Grammy nominated producer Brian Malouf for artist Genevieve Mariko Wilson's recording of Vertigo, and executive produced the music video, which has garnered four awards thus far. Vertigo was most recently an Official Selection of the Prague Independent Film Festival. Ms. Tarin is also one of the producers on the feature version (in development) of the multi-award winning comedy short Turning Japanese. She is currently in development on an inspirational dramatic feature.
