Edgardo Mattei is an Argentine - American television producer and executive producer with more than 48 years of experience in broadcast television, sports production, documentaries, and digital media. He is best known for his work with ESPN and Disney, producing coverage for multiple FIFA World Cups, Copa América tournaments, Concacaf Gold Cups, and original sports documentaries and specials for international audiences. Throughout his career, Mattei has received multiple industry recognitions, including 3 Sports Emmy Awards, 35 Telly Awards, 15 Communicator Awards, 2 Promax Awards, and a Martín Fierro Lifetime Achievement Award.
