Biography

Jennie Lei is a Taiwan-based film producer whose career began on set, working as script supervisor, assistant director, and in art department roles on Taiwanese films including Blue Gate Crossing (2002) and Jump! Boys (2005). After years in advertising, public relations, and destination marketing across Taiwan and Singapore, she returned to production in 2017, joining Eight Eight Nine Films as one of the presenters of A Sun (2019). She subsequently produced Leave Me Alone (2021), and went on to co-produce the Taiwan-Japan co-production 18×2: Beyond Youthful Days (2024), one of the highest-grossing Asian films of the year, and Gatao: Like Father Like Son (2024). She studied Communication Design in New York. As of 2026, she is producing an indie film Syzygy of Love (2027) (in post-production) and serving as executive producer on Nothing Happened Today (2028).
