Biography

Dragana Latinovic is a visual artist and social activist from Berlin, Germany. She has a degree in Graphic Art from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, Serbia, and a degree in Film Directing / Visual Communication of the Academy of Arts in Hamburg, Germany where she was the protege of Prof. Gerd Roscher and Wim Wenders. She is co-founder and co-director of the German film production company Clear Cut Films in Berlin and Fenomena Film Production in Braunschweig. She also co-founded and made possible the first seeing-eye-dog school in Serbia.

Her films are visually startling, existentially moving short pieces. Her short 'Brothers' Dance' gained cult-status in former Yugoslavia as it captured well the Dostojevkyian struggle for humanity in a country on the verge of disappearance. Her films played the international film festival circuit and won many awards.

Dragana was a coordinator of the film festivals 'Euro-In Film', Novi Sad, and 'Cinestrange' in Braunschweig for several years. She also studied European Media Science in Potsdam, Germany.

Dragana works as visual artist, film director, and producer. She devotes most of her time to developing cutting edge documentary films which explore the human condition.
