Biography

Born in London, Topher Neville started with the dream of becoming an Actor and appeared on British Television. By the age of 15 he was drawn to directing film and led fellow school pupils to produce a short animated film, which vanished on the day of it's final cut. With the wind taken from his sails, he diverted his attention to studying Music and Fine Art as a young man, writing songs and making music videos and returning to filmmaking at age 35 by developing feature length live action projects at Pinewood Studios in England. He made a string of short films, (which were self-produced, written and directed, for which he also wrote the music) and his first exhibited production, A Famine Portrait, premiered in France where it won the Jury Prize in Paris-Orly. Further work in film continued on through the pandemic and more recently he wrote, produced and directed a Short film for the town of Ballina, Ireland's 300th anniversary celebrations, which also screened in France where it picked up an award from the Ville d'Athis Mons.
