Víctor Osuna was born on March 15, 1981 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. He is a producer and writer, known for Las Reglas de la Ruina (2018), La Sangre que nos Une and Rictus (2010).

The whole idea with Sarcófago came while watching Steven Spielberg{s A.I., there is a scene where a mother tells a story to her child in suspended animation, there is something in being in a clinical coma that for me symbolizes being caught between two worlds and from there everything build up to the short film script

Cinema is teamwork, and if you have a good team, the vision will stay the same and it will be a good project. You become a family, sharing advice, experience and encouragement as family members often do.

Short film is a playground, a place where you gain experience and train for the big game, is a small window, a flare in the darkness, to make people turn their heads and eyes to see you.

It could sound like a cliché to say this, because the vast majority of writers of the horror genre will tell you the same thing, but for me is the genuine environment in which I grew up, I did not like the nice and happy stories, I grew up reading Edgar Allan Poe. Stephen King, Clive Barker and H.P.Lovecraft and not only his books and stories, the films based on them have always been my peak as a fan, their atmospheres are incredibly complex, they build an exquisite universe that I could not even escape since I was 11 years old, when I found a couple of books cast aside in the basement in my house.
