Biography

Luke Archer is an award winning creative director, producer, and founder of Cool Hand Look, an ADDY Award winning creative agency based in Santa Barbara, California.

Born in Southern California and raised in the Sierra Nevada mountains of Lassen County, Archer discovered his passion for film and video while completing his business school capstone coursework in Monterey, CA. That passion soon became a career spanning live entertainment, film, television, and branded content.

Over the next decade, Archer directed live video productions for more than 700 concerts and events, launched the Music and Independent Music channels for Microsoft's MSN Video, and produced a series of acclaimed music instruction kits and live concert DVDs. His credits also include work on notable feature documentaries such as Marley and Crime After Crime.

In 2012, Archer founded Cool Hand Look, a full-service creative agency specializing in video production and integrated campaigns. That same year, the company produced the award-winning promotional video for comedian Ron White's A Little Unprofessional, which was certified double platinum by the RIAA. Cool Hand Look also earned two ADDY Awards that year for an integrated campaign and a web series.

Archer continues to lead Cool Hand Look, producing original content across film, television, music, and marketing while helping brands and creators tell powerful stories through video.
