Talia is an independent filmmaker and post-production artist based in San Francisco, California. Her credits include writer, director, and editor, in both documentary and narrative works.

Talia's art thrives on the city of San Francisco. She acted as the lead editor for Tenderloin Architecture, which concentrated on a mostly ignored history of one of San Francisco's oldest neighborhoods through an in-depth exploration of its buildings. This documentary helped to create an installation for the Tenderloin History Museum. As an assistant editor with Critical Images Inc. on By The Power Vested in Me (in progress), an exploration into the California Supreme Court case on gay marriage, Talia helped to support the larger struggle nationwide for full equal rights in the LGBT community.

Continuing her interest in social problem films, Talia made her directorial debut with Rag Doll (2010), a short narrative that portrays the private struggle of a teenage girl's confidential abortion, post-procedure. Without shame, Rag Doll daringly exposes the intimacy of the female body and soul at a moment of isolation and detachment. Regardless of the political, religious, or personal arguments surrounding abortion, the film aims to support all women by encouraging them to evaluate this social issue on a personal level.

Attempting to exercise story development skills through editing, Talia's personal favorite, Love in the Age of Technology, samples presidential speeches and aggregated media from the Internet to create a message of hope, peace, and human rights. Branching into new media, Talia has teamed with Matt Ozer, a local sound artist, to develop Acoustic Ecology, an online installation that hopes to portray how we are affected by the natural and artificial sounds around us. Through the use of experimental editing techniques dependent on binaural soundscape recordings, Acoustic Ecology characterizes the story of San Francisco through it's neighborhoods.

Talia graduated with honors from The Art Institute of California - San Francisco with a Bachelors of Science in Digital Film making and Video Production.
