Biography

  • Greg Furman is an actor, director, writer and composer based in Los Angeles whose work spans film, television, theater, and AAA game-franchises.

In television and animation, Furman has appeared on The Goldbergs and voiced Thor in Marvel Zombies (2025), marking his debut working with Marvel, while his second and latest collaboration with the studio saw Furman voicing the climactic Newscaster monologue in Destin Daniel Cretton's Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026).

The son of an engineer and a teacher, Furman was raised in New York, where he went on to study Film, TV, Marketing, and perform Shakespeare while writing for several comedy troupes at Marist college. After booking his first feature film, The Last Keepers (alongside Natt Wolff, Virginia Madsen and Aidan Quinn), Furman pursued theater in NYC and joined the Board of Directors at the non-profit, Fundamental Theater Project while producing shows like the Edinburgh Fringe Festival run of 3-D Hamlet (Alec Baldwin, Kate Mulgrew, Anthony Rapp).

A move to LA saw Furman leading several independent films, including JOE, Wing Dad, and Flight 666. His performance in JOE (which Furman wrote, directed, edited, and scored), contributed to the film’s success on the international festival circuit, where it received multiple awards including Best Comedy (BIFF). The project has since been developed into a larger series concept directed by Furman, starring Richard Kind.

His extensive body of work in voice-over and performance capture includes multiple roles in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, as well as projects with studios such as Activision, Crystal Dynamics, Amazon, and Audible.
