Carmen Cortes Martin is a confident and enthusiastic filmmaker specialized in Art Department for Film and Television. She works on productions in the USA, Spain and UK. She is a creative thinker who pays extra attention to detail in her designs of decor and objects that craft sophisticated narratives.
Carmen holds a double major degree in Journalism and Media from Carlos III University, Madrid. She was fortunate to receive numerous scholarships supporting her education, in Art Direction for Film, at Kingston University (London), San Diego State University (California), and most recently at Central Saint Martins (London).
As a designer, Carmen has a special attachment for period dramas and experimenting with textures.
