Biography

Founder & Exec. Producer at The M.A.R.K.13 - Group, Stuttgart

Dominique Schuchmann has more than 25 years' experience in CGI-Animation and VFX, as well as film- and commercial-film-production. He has been awarded numerous national and international awards in both sectors, entertainment and advertising.

He started his career 1993 as an CGI-Animator for music videos and commercials and also worked on his first feature film. Following his studies at the well-known Filmacademy in Ludwigsburg, he founded the animation- and film production company M.A.R.K.13, together with also Filmacademy alumnus Holger Weiss. Today M.A.R.K.13 is divided into M.A.R.K.13 - COM (commercial film services), M.A.R.K.13 - STUDIOS (entertainment services) and PENG! BOOM! TSCHAK! - FILMS (IP production).

These studios have been producing commercial-films for BBDO, JvM, Ogilvy, AUDI, American Express, BMW and DAIMLER. But also contributed significant work to full-CGI-films like KNIGHT RUSTY 1&2, MAYA the BEE 1&2, PETTERSSON & FINDUS 2, VIC THE VIKING and THE OGGLIES.

M.A.R.K.13 is a member of the German Producers Alliance and of the AMCRS (Animation Media Cluster Region Stuttgart). Dominique Schuchmann is personally an active member of the ADC of Germany and the VES.
