Senior Executive Producer and Director of Digital Partnerships, GBH Bill Shribman has over 30 years' experience making digital media for kids, most of those have been at GBH, working to support children's education through technology and information literacy.
WGBH Educational Foundation (GBH) is a 501c3 non-profit and the source of approximately one-third of the PBS prime time line-up, with signature series that include NOVA, Frontline, Masterpiece, Antiques Roadshow, Arthur and Molly of Denali.
Bill is a two-time Daytime EMMY winner and has created national information literacy content in the form of video, animations, games, and after-school curriculum for his original series Ruff Ruffman: Humble Media Genius and Search It Up; these are both focused on kids' digital lives and the likely impact of artificial intelligence, with 200 million streams to date.
His projects have included producing the Curious George website which has seen 3.5 billion page views, leading the Molly of Denali digital platform, developing an early literacy app with the Harvard Graduate School of Education, producing innovative AR and VR projects with Microsoft and NASA and others, and creating apps for outdoor science activities.
He is also a former affiliate of the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University. He occasionally runs a small detective agency, The Fin Fur and Feather Bureau of Investigation. His TED-X and TED-Ed videos about photography are available online.
