- Developed a Musical stage play with Martin Lee (Brotherhood of Man). The Butterfly Ball. Also involved in a TV animation series The Butterfly Children.
- Dave Legeno and Philip grew up in the same street. Dave ended up living next door to Philips parents for 15 years before his tragic death.
- Philip wrote the feature screenplay 'Thin Rain' which John McTiernan was attached to direct. It would have been McT's first picture since 2003.
