Jonathon Ash was raised in Tyne and Wear, England where he spent most
of his childhood. As a child, he liked watching old movies (and was
especially fond of films with Peter Cushing). He produced a number of
short films on Super 8mm and VHS. While at school, Ash pursued his film
making interest with acting and also Art. He later went on to start
two film production companies based in North East England.
