Lauren Rubin(III)

Lauren is an actress, singer, writer and producer from New York, with a BFA in Drama from NYU. She splits her time between New York and Los Angeles, working in theater, film and TV. Credits include Criminal Minds, horror flick The Atticus Institute, HBO's The Leisure Class and numerous indie films with up and coming filmmakers. Stage credits include: Off-Broadway in The Donkey Show, directed by Tony Winner Diane Paulus, Little By Little directed by Jess McLeod, as well as originating a number of roles in new musical comedies including Bumpersticker and Bukowsical!, the latter of which one Outstanding Musical at the NYC Fringe. She has also recorded original cast albums for The Brain From Planet X and Bukowsical! Lauren recently sang back up for Karen O & Dangermouse at the Ace Hotel in LA and has performed in dozens of cabaret and concert venues in both NY & LA.

As a producer, she has worked on a number of musicals and cabarets including the West Coast Premiere of Lizzie, a rock musical in concert, and a monthly charity cabaret called For Good. She also wrote, produced and starred in the YouTube series Restaurant Fails. More writing samples available on request.
