André Lamar

André Lamar was born and raised in the metro Detroit area of Michigan. After graduating from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Technology, he worked in corporate America for over a decade. After André relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, he took an interest in acting and decided to pursue this passion for entertainment. André began to book roles for short films, TV series, movies, and theater projects. In 2016, he landed his first leading role in "Before I Go" which was in select theaters. To perfect his craft, André continues to take ongoing acting classes. André has achieved such accomplishments as Best Actor Award from the Company Acting Studio, voted by his peers. In addition to acting, André is a skilled writer, director, and producer. He is sought after for numerous roles and can be seen on BET, TV One, and other networks alike. Outside of acting, André enjoys basketball, working out, hanging out with friends and relaxing with his dog.
