  • Nathan Thomas Milliner is a writer/director from Louisville, Kentucky.

    After nearly 20 years working as a comic book artist/writer/creator, Nathan first broke into film in 2008 when a comic he created called "Girl Number Three" was optioned for a feature film. Milliner would serve as both screenwriter, producer and several other duties on the movie.

    In 2011, he wrote and directed the feature film "A Wish for the Dead" which was also based on one of his comics.

    In 2014, he was asked to direct a segment for the anthology horror film "Volumes of Blood." Nate would re-write a script and direct for a segment titled "The Encyclopedia Satanica."

    The following year, Milliner would produce, write and direct a passion project titled "The Confession of Fred Krueger"-a fan film prequel to the original A Nightmare on Elm Street movie.

    He returned to Volumes of Blood: Horror Stories the following year to serve as writer, director, editor, co-producer and art director on two segments. The first, a slasher short called "Murder Death Killer" and the second, a Christmas home invasion story called "Fear, For Sinners Here." He would also write and act in a segment titled "Haters."

    Milliner then wrote, directed, and produced a Star Wars fan film for charity raising money for Norton Children's Hospital. The film would be titled, "Star Wars: Hand of the Empire."

    Next up, Nathan co-wrote a sequel to the slasher film "The Wicked One" titled "Wicked Ones."

    His most recent work is as writer, director, editor and executive producer of the feature film "On a Dark And Bloody Ground."

    Milliner is also known for his commercial art work. He has illustrated dozens of movie posters for various films and over 70 Blu ray covers for Scream Factory, Code Red, Synapse, various distributors in Europe and many independent films. He's worked for HorrorHound Magazine, Fright Rags, NECA, Playboy Magazine, Trick or Treat Studios and many other clients providing artwork for various projects.

    He's appeared in several films and TV shows as an actor and as himself in several documentaries that include Scream Queen and Fredheads.

    He has also been involved in sculpting, FX, sound design, art direction, production design, story boarding, color grading, set building, costuming, props, and various other jobs in film.
