Once interviewed German director Werner Herzog at a hotel room in Los Angeles. While discussing the theatricality of the city, they were interrupted by the space shuttle Endeavour's final landing on LAX airport. The anecdote inspired the chronicle Lessons From the Future, published on Premiere magazine.

When Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) (Superman/Batman) was announced at Comic Con 2013, he bought the site SupermanVsBatmanMovie.com and directed it to his personal page as a prank. Advised by his lawyer, he had to drop it soon after some sites started talking about the hoax.
