She performed on Broadway in Hal Prince’s Grind, garnering a drama desk nomination. She has acted in 100+ productions, directed 40+ productions, designed costumes for 90+ productions, but her greatest production is opera bass, Theo Harrah, the son she had at 45 with her fabulous director husband Arnie Harrah. (July 11 to August 13, 2000) She played Topeka Abotelli (Piano) in the musical, "Swingtime Canteen," in a Fifth Third Bank's Summer Musical production at the Actors Theatre of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky with Karen Culp (Jo Sterling (Drums); Blair Ross (Marian Ames); Melanie Mays (Lilly McBain (Alto Sax, Banjo, Guitar)- Melanie Mays and Kelli Sawyer (Katie Gammersflugel) in the cast. Linda Thorsen Bond, William Repicci and Charles Busch wrote the book. Bob McDowell was orchestra and vocal arranger. Dick Gallagher provided special material. Melody Welsh and Hunt Butler played the clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Alto Sax and Tenor Sax. Stacy Simpson played the trumpet. Jena Huebner placed the Bass.
