Trained with Student Group 62 at The Questors Theatre, Ealing, 2007 - 2009.

Is of Russian Jewish descent on his father's side.

Co-wrote stage play A Bigger Boat (with Mike Hadjipateras) which was performed at the Questors Theatre in Ealing, London, on the 28th and 29th of November 2017 and again at Jackson's Lane Theatre in Highgate, North London for two performances on October 25th 2024.

Hugh Grant's mother was his French teacher at Lampton School, Hounslow.
