Vesa Manninen is a film director from Raahe, a small town on the northern coast of Finland. Since 2006, he has worked internationally as a director in advertising.
He holds a BA in Film Art from Turku Arts Academy and an MA in Screenwriting from Tampere University of Applied Sciences. Early in his career, he worked as an in-house director at a Helsinki post-production company, gaining extensive hands-on experience with CGI and VFX pipelines.
He is currently in post-production on SUPERBIA, his feature directorial debut, expected to be completed in late 2026, while developing several other feature and television projects alongside his commercial work.
