Chris Kugelman is a Peabody and Emmy Award-winning producer known for premium nonfiction programming across documentary, adventure, wildlife, science, and sports. Over more than two decades he has created and led productions for platforms and brands including National Geographic, Disney+, Netflix, and Red Bull.
Kugelman has worked in a variety of roles including cameraman, writer, director, and producer, and most recently served as an executive producer for National Geographic. His work spans television, streaming platforms, documentary films, and digital-first content.
Before working in television production, Kugelman spent several seasons supporting scientific teams in Antarctica and Greenland, an experience that continues to influence his work in expedition-based storytelling.
