Biography

Eddie Nason was born and raised in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, a historic, yet urban industrialized mill city just north of the state capital, Providence. He grew up with his mother and father, who would later divorce in his teens, and his two older sisters in a two-family home. As a kid, he attended public school and played numerous sports right through high school. Baseball and football were his favorite, and then basketball, cross-country and track would become his primary sports throughout his adolescent years. Eddie then began studying marketing with a concentration in finance while jumping around a few different colleges. He also worked various jobs in restaurants, retail and hospitality helping to raise his young family before the acting bug grabbed hold.

Eddie began acting in typical fashion after being approached by the artistic director of a community theatre in his hometown who was looking to put up a summertime Shakespearean at a beautiful outdoor amphitheater on the river. That play would be The Taming of the Shrew where Eddie co-starred as 'Lucentio' and garnered some nice reviews and publicity. It was also during this summer when Eddie had his first experience of what it's like to work on a real "Hollywood" film set, shooting in Rhode Island. He quickly knew, with the encouragement from his peers, that television and film would be the direction he would set his sights on.

Fast-forward twelve years or so, after playing leading and supporting roles in several theatre productions and independent films, as well as appearing in countless commercials for broadcast television and the internet, Eddie's still chasing the dream of making it to the movie big leagues. He remains living in Rhode Island with his wife and two children.
