Alexander Sharp is from Vancouver, British Columbia. He is known for his film, "Wired Shut" (2021), as well as his music videos, shorts, and commercials. "Wired Shut", was distributed internationally by MPX and 101 Films and earned 3 LEO Award Nominations for best screenwriting, best cinematography, and best supporting actor. Bloody Disgusting Magazine called it, "a home invasion with heart and emotional tension." After graduating from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, where he studied Film and Television Production and Business, his short film, "Ziggy's Will", screened at Festival de Cannes, Manchester International Film Festival, HollyShorts, Santa Monica International Film Festival and Gig Harbor Film Festival in 2018. "Salvation", Alexander's music video for Josh Jones & Trevor Kidd, was officially selected by over 20 film festivals around the world and has won him awards for Best Music Video and Best Directing in a Music Video in Budapest, Munich, and Rome. "Salvation" reached nearly 200,000 views on YouTube and is described by American Cinematographer Magazine as a mixture of, "German Expressionism and Lynchian peculiarity."

His 2026 short film "Thank You", premiered at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, then went to WorldFest Houston where it won the Special Jury Award, and won 4 LEO Awards out of 8 Nominations making it the highest nominated short film that year.
