Wayne W. Johnson is an actor based in Syracuse, NY as well as the singer / guitarist for CAROLINE BLUE-a Melodic Hard Rock Band. Wayne started out performing in school plays during 5th-7th grade. For his 11th grade Spanish class, Wayne filmed a few commercials and a music video. It was during this time he had a choice between the path of acting or music. Wayne chose music and, during his college years, gained a Bachelor's Degree in Music (Graduating Magna Cum Laude) as well as an Associates Degree in Humanities. Starting out in a number of CNY bands, Wayne eventually formed his own band with CAROLINE BLUE. CB has, to date, released two CDs ("Slave to the Hourglass" and "Not For The Innocent"). CB's songs have been on several CD compilations, music videos and indie movies. Their STTH CD was nominated for a SAMMY (Syracuse Area Music Award) in 2006 and CB won the "Rock & Roll Original Band" award in the First Annual Upper State Independent Awards in 2007...After years of focusing primarily on the path of music, Wayne shifted that focus in 2011 towards the path of acting. He is best known for his roles as Cornelius in "Night of Something Strange" (Hurricane Bridge Entertainment ), Dracula in "Tales of Dracula" (Wolfbain Productions) and Ensign Walking Bear (Episodes "Mind-Sifter" and "The Holiest Thing") with Star Trek New Voyages.

Wayne W. Johnson won the award for "Best Villain" for his role as "Cornelius" in the horror / comedy film "Night of Something Strange" (Hurricane Bridge Entertainment) at the 2017 Toxic Film Festival (TOXFF).
Back in 2012, Wayne W. Johnson played the lead role of a school bus driver for an Industrial instructional video for beginner bus drivers for First Student in Syracuse, NY. This was a gig he got thru AMS Models & Talent and was filmed by Otto Media. In this role, his biggest concern was in regards to the safety of the kids on his bus-a far cry from roles like Cornelius (Night of Something Strange) or Dracula (Tales of Dracula).
Wayne W. Johnson won the "Best Actor" award for his role as "Dracula" in the Classic Horror Film "Tales of Dracula: Dracula Meets The Wolfman" (Wolfbain Productions) at The Monster Channel Film Festival in 2024.
Wayne W. Johnson was nominated for "Best Supporting Actor" award for his role as "The Man In Black" in the Horror Anthology Film "Cryptids" (Mystery Library Productions) at The Horror Hound Film Festival in 2023.
2024 - Wayne W. Johnson won the award of Best Actor at The Monster Channel Film Festival for his performance as Dracula in the film "Tales of Dracula: Dracula Meets The Wolfman" (Wolfbain Productions).

I have fun in whatever role I'm doing. To me, having fun is part of the creative process. The worst day acting, for me, is better than the best day doing 9 to 5.
Always bring an extra set of clean underwear with you on set in case crafty is having a bad day.
I don't subscribe to the acting method of every role is basically you and whatever the role is, you're basically playing you-regardless of role background. That type of acting has it's place and there are several major actors known for that per se, but that's never appealed to me. Now, if you can play a role that different than you, yet still able to put in a little of "you" into it to show some "flavor"-while still being true to the role-that's different. But a touch of flavor-not the whole damn bottle (HA!).
Is there a particular genre that I prefer to work in...how about one where I don't get injured (HA!)
I'm my worst critic, so it's rare for me to watch myself in a film and be 100% satisfied with how I acted.
