Biography

  • Nansi Nsue is a Spanish actor of African descent who moved to Spain (Alicante) as a child from her native Equatorial Guinea.

First leading with sports; Judo, rhythmic gymnastics and Basketball, Nansi realized that she liked performing in front of people. However, theatrical performance didn't become part of her path until later in life when she moved to Belfast, Northern Ireland, to study marketing and learn English. It was there where she got a chance to do background work in the Hollywood comedy film, Your Highness, starring Natalie Portman and James Franco, that she got the acting bug and made the drastic decision to quit college and move to London to chase her newfound dreams.

Nansi studied at The Method Acting Studio in London where she also studied voice and movement. She began building her experience, with short films and independent low budget featured films.

Nansi then starred in a 5* sold-out, Afro-Caribbean adaptation of the play Yerma by Federico Garcia Lorca, which debuted at The Spanish Cervantes theatre in London. And went onto forge a career in TV with a debut performance in a guest lead role for ABC's Whiskey Cavalier. A recurring role in popular BBC series, The Mallorca files. Spanish series Madres: Amor y Vida for Amazon prime and The paradise, a Spanish/ Finnish collaboration. Most recently, Nansi has finished shooting for a Disney+ series and two featured films. Leading on "Hate songs", a film that tells the terrible story about the RTML, the radio that incited the 94' Rwandan genocide. And El Salto, also known as Jumping the fence, by Benito Zambrano, which was one of five Spanish films in the lineup of Spanish Screenings Goes to Cannes.
