Biography

Coral Aiken is a filmmaker based in Toronto, Canada. For over a decade, Coral has championed Canadian talent through her production company Aiken Heart Films. Recent releases include New York Times Critic’s Pick "Carmen", and "The Well" by Oscar-nominated Hubert Davis. Coral began her career in the arts in Winnipeg as a professional dancer. After performing across Canada, she turned to choreography, mounting multi-channel works for stage, and directing short dance films. Coral has an MFA from York University, and is an alumna of EAVE, TIFF, and Berlinale Talents. Aiken works as a line producer for independent feature films. Clients include Point Grey Pictures, Tango Entertainment, Elevation Pictures, and Babe Nation Films. She is represented by United Talent Agency.
