- Height5′ 4½″ (1.64 m)
- Born in England, to Irish parents. Growing up, aimed to become a film special effects make up artist. Studied Art, Art History, Drama, Sociology and TV & Film Production. She volunteered to work on set design and lighting in a local theater and was a part time cinema projectionist for 5 years. Emigrated to the USA in 2007. Whilst living in the US for 10 years, she acted, produced and undertook various production roles, with voice overs, commercials, music videos, industrials, documentaries, short and feature films. Following a festival win with her son (Film maker and Director Cameron M Johnson), she was approached by the Director of The Screen Actors Guild (Detroit) and was asked to spearhead the upcoming SAG New Media contract. This resulted in a new short film ‘Asphyxia’ being produced (in which she played protagonist ‘Sarah’), launching the new programme and paving the way for subsequent other New Media Films’ and their actors to gain eligibility to the Screen Actors Guild. She wrote her first feature, Art based, romantic comedy drama ‘United State of English’ in which an early draft of the screenplay was read by the late, legendary actor Alan Rickman, following a meeting in New York. Alan said, he ‘read and thoroughly enjoyed it’. Subsequent travelling and living abroad again during those 10 years, in France, Ireland and then briefly back to America, saw a break in film work for two years, though Pauline continued writing. She moved back to Ireland in 2017, where she now resides. After 14 years in storage, feature screenplay ‘United State of English’ was unearthed, re-energised and updated to ‘move with the times’. Pauline has several projects in various states of production, including ‘Masked Fragility’ in pre production and short documentary ‘The Art of The Stitch’, filming. Projects in the writing/development stage are ‘Truth be Told’, strange but true stories of extraordinary things happening to ordinary people, ‘The Upper Hand’, a comedy drama, about a young wannabe actor, auditioning for the drama school of his dreams and ‘Bless me father’, a dark comedy drama of intrigue, blackmail and an unassuming church cleaner.
