- Tony Moore was born on December 20, 1978 in Lexington, Kentucky, USA. He is a writer and director, known for The Walking Dead (2010), The Walking Dead: Dead City (2023) and Fear the Walking Dead (2015).
- He is often referred to as Colonel Tony Moore, and while it is not any sort of military rank, the title is not self-created. Moore is a proud Kentuckian who was officially commissioned into the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels by Governor Steve Beshear in 2016.
- As an illustrator, Moore openly cites Jack Davis (EC Comics, MAD Magazine) as one of his biggest personal inspirations and influences. The visual style of Moore's music video for Tyler Childers' "Country Squire" was largely a send-up to the Rankin/Bass 1967 film, "Mad Monster Party?" which was designed by Davis.
