Biography

  • Having grown up in Denmark, talented character actor Peter Vinding has always kept busy acting since the age of 16, often playing deep emotional complex characters with his wide range and emotional availability. Peter Vinding was born September 12th, 1983 in Copenhagen and spent his early teen years here training and working as an actor in successful plays and musicals such as "Oliver Twist", "Last Chance" and Mozart's opera "La Clemenza di Tito" which earned Peter and invitation to perform in the revival at English National Opera in London. Furthermore Peter also starred in "The Pilgrim's Progress" which was based on baptist priest John Bunyan's World famous book of the same name. The production became a huge success ending with an at the time not planned national tour because of a huge demand and also John Bunyan's book being republished with Peter on the cover. But Peter was eager to learn more and expand his craft and decided to move to New York to take more training at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting with renowned teachers such as Ron Burrus, Anthony Zerbe, Mark Rylance and Andrew Wade. In his graduating year Peter ended up playing the famous parts of Trigorin in Anton Tjekhov's "The Seagull" and Jack Earnest in Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest. Both plays are some of the best shows in The Stella Adler Studio's history says Artistic Director Tom Oppenheim. After graduating Peter moved to Los Angeles and quickly gained representation by manager Reneé Missel famous for producing movies such as "Nell" directed by Michael Apted and starring with Jodie Foster and Liam Neeson, "Guy" with Lucy Liu and Vincent D'Onofrio and "Defenseless" with Sam Shepard and the late J.T. Walsh. Still living in Los Angeles Peter keeps training with renowned acting teacher Gregory Berger-Sobeck at The Berg Studios and is looking forward to see what the Los Angeles market has to offer in the future.
