Sunayana Kumari

Sunayana is an Indian screenwriter known for her work on Netflix's Mismatched, a Hindi-language coming-of-age series, as well as the successful Amazon Prime Original thriller series Dahaad, starring Sonakshi Sinha and Vijay Verma, directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby. Sunayana's upcoming release is a neo-noir series titled Brown for ZEE5, directed by Abhinay Deo with Karisma Kapoor in the lead. Brown was the only Indian series to be included at the Berlinale Series Market Selects among the top 16 shows from around the world at the 2023 Berlin International Film Festival. After recently wrapping work on an international war drama and an Indian adaptation of a popular K-Drama, Sunayana is currently developing her original romance feature.
