Biography

Ph.D. in the Theory, History and Practice of Theater from Granada U. (Spain). BFA Performing Arts from RESAD (Madrid) and MA Teaching Spanish Language & Literature from Universidad Nebrija (Madrid). He is Spanish and Media Writing Lecturer for Padova University (Italy).

He directs and writes the short films Far l'amore (2020), Brujas (2020), Fidelio o el Amor Conyugal (2020), Maldita familia (2019), La mirada del hijo (2016); and writes La tristeza (2019), Reconciliación (2010), La Boheme (2007), Línea 57 (2006). Los Herejes (2022) is his first long film as director.

He also writes the short films "La Tristeza" (2019), "Reconciliación" (2010), RTVA Award 2010 for Best Andalusian Creation and Best Short Film Award XXXIII International Film Week of San Roque among others; "Línea 57" (2006), Award for Best Screenplay Short Film Festival of San Pedro de Alcantara; "La Bohème" (2007). In 2021 he directed and wrote his first feature film"Los Herejes", Nominated for Best Feature Film at the Villa de Ledesma International Film Festival 2024 (Spain), and in 2023 his second feature film, "The Cardenio Project (una historia de Quijote)", Best Screenplay and Best Actress at Lloret Negre; Best Screenplay and Actress at the Noctambulo International Fantastic Film Festival; Best Original Concept Award at the Golden FEMI Film Festival 2024 (Bulgaria) and Mirada Crítica Award at Fantboi Festival (Spain). As fiction writer, he publishes his first novel in 2022, "Un buen día" (Multiverso ed.).
