Biography

Dave was born in Dublin Ireland to parents Irene and Aidan McGlone in April of 1982.

Currently running Soldier Monkey Productions, a low budget indie film company in Wexford, Ireland, Dave is working on rom-coms, action/thrillers and the occasional straight comedy.

Known as being a laid back director who gets the best out of everyone, even those who are difficult or "divas". Dave is proud of his record of always coming in under budget and ahead of schedule.

Working with talent around the world, Dave has worked in New York, LA, Dublin, the UK and hopes to work in Asia and Australia in coming years.

Dave has been a movie buff and fan since he was brought to see Santa Claus The Movie way back when he was just 3 years old. The only career that made sense to him was the movies and in 2008 he made his first steps in the industry as screenwriter.

Dave specializes in low budget films and has received several award nominations and much critical acclaim for his movies to date.

Dave was Born in Ireland and has a passion for bringing the best of Irish to his work and for bringing the best people in the business to Ireland to work with.

Dave has a passion for independent film and loves to work on projects that people have real passion for. His motto is "work for your heart, not your wallet."

Dave's goals include working with some of the industries finest people, winning many gold statues (or bronze!) and to make as many people feel entertained as possible.
