Biography

Eva Crutzen is a Dutch actress, screenwriter, and director. She grew up in Maastricht and moved to Amsterdam in 2005. After her studies in theatre, she won the Audience Award at the Wim Sonneveld competition. Her first solo was named one of the best cabaret performances of the year. Her later shows also received critical acclaim. On television, she played several roles in series where she stood out with sharp, moving and satirical characters. In 2024, she wrote, directed, and starred in her own original series 'Bodem', which earned her two Golden Calf and two screenplay awards.
