Half Turkish (mother). Well known Television and Film actor. His film Saawan about child polio was an official entry to the Oscar's and won many international awards. Yorguc recently returned to his motherland of Turkey where CNN Turk interviewed him on his life story. Separated at childhood from his mother he finally was reunited with her before she passed away of cancer.

Yorguc Tipu Sharif sings in many languages and was recently invited to Istanbul to give a concert at a charity event.

Tipu's birth name is Yorguc which is the Turkish version of the Greek name Yorgos (George).
