Morroco shoot for Jezabel Epic series 2019
Ron was brought up in Brazil and Canada graduating from high school in both countries. After getting his BA in Architecture and Urban Design in Brazil Ron moved to Canada to work on the Vancouver skytrain project. A few years later, working at Soren Rasmussen Architects, Ron was inspired by a colleague to enroll in the Vancouver Film School's 3D animation program.

In 1995 Ron joined Vetor Zero's CG team and soon after JB Tanko Filmes, where he became familiar with Discreet Logic's Flame and Quantel's Hal Express. In 1998 Ron became part of Discreet Logic's team for Latin America. For 3 years Ron was responsible for training and supporting all of Discreet's Fire and Smoke post suites in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Panama and Peru.

After leaving Autodesk Ron worked for Momento Filmes, TV Globo and Digital 21 as a digital compositor on Smoke, Flame and Inferno.

In 2007 Ron joined TV Record's newly formed visual fx team to meet a daring challenge; to produce a vfx packed daily show called "Caminhos do Coração" . The show , following the lines of "Heroes" and " X Men" became a milestone for open TV in Brazil. The vfx team had to deal with an overwhelming amount characters and their super powers. The show became such a hit that it lasted for 3 seasons totaling just over 500 episodes.

In 2009 Ron embraced yet another challenge when Recnov Studios announced the production of a sequence of biblical mini series. Since then, Ron has supervised the vfx production for 4 mini series; Historia de Ester, Sansao e Dalila, Rei Davi and most recently Jose do Egito.

The biblical shows demanded not only many exotic locations in Brazil but also in Canada, Chile, Israel and Egypt where Ron has spent much time supervising the production of visual effects, time lapses and data acquisition in many of the worlds deserts.

In 2015 , after working on "Os Dez Mandamentos" ( 10 Commandments ) for Recnov Studios, Ron relocated to Toronto as Senior VFX Supervisor at Stargate Studios.
