- A fresh and innovative voice in music and digital content, Kevin Writer is a Los Angeles based Music Supervisor and Producer. With a keen ear for musical color and the ability to redesign structural elements from popular music into symphonic idiom, Kevin Writer brings dedication to the producer's intent, respect for his musician colleagues and a spirit of collaboration with composers and filmmakers.
In 2010 Kevin Writer joined Mariah Carey as the opening act on her "Angel's Advocate" tour, spanning 27 cities; while also composing his first original cues for MTV's "Wild n Out".
Later that year Kevin partnered with Nick Cannon to help launch the music, TV and film company Ncredible Ent. This partnership lead to composition opportunities with X-Factor, America's Got Talent and American Idol over the following years.
Kevin signed on as Music Supervisor for Cartoon Network's "Incredible Crew" in 2013 providing 56 original cues and creative writing for 13 episodes. In the same year Kevin composed original music for the break out Sundance winning film, "Kings of Summer" alongside Ryan Miller.
2014-2019 found Kevin creating and producing digital commercials and music supervising for brands including, Mobli Media, Mirage Inc, Five Four Menswear, Young and Reckless Clothing, Clorox, Jaden Smith, etc. This 6 year span garnered over 1 billion online video views.
