Dane is a Production Sound Mixer/Sound Recordist with 20+ years of experience in sound engineering.

Large-scale feature films & TV Series for Netflix, Marvel, Sony, HBO, DC, Warner Brothers, Paramount, NBC-Universal, Amazon-MGM, Skydance Media, Disney & Stan.

Documentaries for Netflix, Discovery, SBS, ABC, Vice Studios & the BBC.

TVCs & branded content for many brands over the years, including Apple, Nike, Adidas, Virgin Airlines, Qantas, BMW, Google & many more.

Available as a local for the Gold Coast, Brisbane & Melbourne regions, Dane is also available internationally with a current Australian passport & clean police record, having worked across locations in Malta, India, Singapore, Finland, Japan, China, Cambodia, the U.S.A, Timor Leste, New Zealand & the Solomon Islands. He is comfortable on the road and always prepared for travel.

Equally comfortable managing a sound department on large-scale feature films and TV/streaming series as he is working in a tight-knit documentary crew.

Earlier in his career, Dane worked as a sound editor, so he knows what location sound elements are needed for the edit and mix.

Dane has a love of language and has mixed & recorded dialogue in English, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, Marathi, Hindi, Cantonese, Mandarin, Khmer, Thai, Russian, Finnish, Yiddish, Tetum, Pijin/Neo-Solomonic & multiple Aboriginal languages.

Holds a Working With Children/Blue Card certification in both Victoria and Queensland, a first aid certificate (HLTAID011 Provide First Aid), a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification and an Australian boat & jet-ski license.
