Roman Surzha - a Ukrainian composer, whose creative assets include music for theatrical performances, cinema music composing, choreographic music productions, choral works, instrumental compositions, songs and arrangements.
Worked as a choirmaster (Kyiv choir "Dzvoni"), teacher (Lysenko school in Kyiv), session musician and music director (Agency "Z ranku do nochi"), sound producer (album of "Okean Elzy" music band "Tam de nas nema"etc.), composer (TV channel STB).
At the World Festival of Sacred Music "Musica Sacra a Roma" which was held in the summer residence of the Pope in 2005, the work "Alleluia" performed by the choir "Shchedryk" received the highest score, which brought victory to the choir in the competition.
