Courtesy Orchis was an Artist, Poet, Publisher, Songwriter, Writer, Editor, Interviewer, Photographer and sometimes administrator and Curator of the Nine Hearts Publishing collective (1991-1999), a group formed with the intention of writing about marginalized groups and distributing to marginalized groups free of charge, with the understanding that marginalized groups often cannot afford to access works of art and/or cannot source work which speaks to them in any way. Between 2008 and 2012 Orchis made a small contribution to student film and photography via Wardrobe, donation, Modeling and Extra roles.
