Biography

Leonardo Santaiti is a first-generation American actor and filmmaker, born in New York and raised in Atlanta. With a deep connection to his Italian-Argentinian heritage, he is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, enriching his diverse roles and performances across film, television, and stage.

After earning a Bachelor's in International Business, Leonardo made his acting debut with a lead role in A Band of Rogues, which earned Best Ensemble honors. He has since appeared in blockbuster films like Insurgent, Allegiant, and Sleepless, while also lending his voice to projects such as Birds of Prey and American Dad!. His work in motion capture includes NFL Madden and an upcoming video game.

On stage, Leonardo's portrayal of Thomas Novachek in Venus in Fur received critical acclaim, showcasing his ability to blend drama and comedy while exploring complex characters. He is also the creative force behind Santaiti Studios, where he has produced, directed, and performed in award-winning shorts, including Forgive Me Father and Pony Up. His film Picking Daisies earned him a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama at the Official Latino Film & Arts Festival, where it also won Best Editing.
