Elisabeth Kaplan

Elisabeth Kaplan was born in Grahamstown/Makhanda, South Africa, and is now based in Vienna, Austria. She is known for the Academy Award-nominated short film Watu Wote: All of us. Together with her music partner, Florian Hirschmann, she has composed scores as well as radio and television jingles. She is also a songwriter and singer, and a sought-after songwriting collaborator.
Elisabeth Kaplan studied at the world-renowned Mozarteum University in Salzburg and performed on stages around the world as a key member of the early music ensemble Quadriga Consort.
