Gretha Viana

Gretha is a Producer and Director with a bachelor's degree in Journalism from UFPB and a master's degree in Film and Screenwriting from the University of London. She has 15 years of experience in producing television documentaries, feature films, brand content, and animation for the international market. For 7 years, she co-directed Red Earth Films, specialized in providing filming production services in South America (for clients like BBC, HBO, Channel 4, NatGeo, Discovery, etc.). In 2010, she began to develop and write her own TV content for Red Earth and had series commissioned by Globo, ESPN, and The History Channel, one of which, 'The Infiltrator', which Gretha wrote and produced, was nominated for the International Emmy Award in 2014. One of Gretha's most recent productions includes the TV series FIFA Uncovered, aired in November 2022 on Netflix, TV series Nazi Hunters (NatGeo) Gemini Award Winner, I Scored a Goal in the World Cup (ESPN) Sports Emmy nominated and 9.79* that she co-directed and produced with BAFTA winner director Daniel Gordon. Gretha now runs Ruma Filmes and is represented by Modo Operante Produções in Brazil.
