Attended the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, with a double major in film and film studies and a minor in mass communications/journalism. The film school, apart of the university's Peck School of the Arts, was named one of the top five film schools in the country by Film Threat magazine, one of the top three "non-Hollywood" film schools by Independent Film and Video Monthly, and one of the top 25 film schools in the world by the Hollywood Reporter in a 2011 article. It was ranked 20th overall.
