Miles Kelley was born in Columbus, Ohio and it can be argued that his
love of acting was alive in him since birth. His grandmother would
often tell him that when he was still a small child he had to be the
center of attention. When he was left alone in his crib, Miles would
literally ROCK his crib to the edge of the door in order to get
someones attention to come and watch him.
Miles got his first formal acting experience in high school under the tutelage of Karen Handler and went on to star in several school plays. However, once moving on to college, he put his dreams of the bright lights on hold. Miles went on to work at a management level in a couple different retail stores before quitting and running his own business as a graphic designer. At the time, Miles was a member of United Ministries Church and Minister Marlene Parks was in the process of writing a play to be performed in the church. Miles and Minister Parks discussed a lot of ideas back and forth and not only did he decide to be in the play, but he even went on to write one of the scenes of the local hit Church Hoppers. Portraying the role of Rooster, Miles was an audience favorite every night of the performance. As Miles walked off the stage from delivering a powerful performance and heard the crowd erupt into cheers it is needless to say that his hunger and love for the stage and big screen was back!!
Miles soon moved to the Las Vegas, NV to live with a childhood friend who was attending grad school at UNLV for the screen writing program. In his 3 years living in Vegas, he worked with Chris Thomas on several student projects as well as a couple of Independent projects. One role that garnered him a lot of praise was that of Malik in "Good ol F.U. The Pickup Artist".
Miles has since moved to Hollywood, California to follow his dream and pursue those bright lights. In a very short time in LA, Miles has already done background work for a few television shows, been in a few Indy projects as well as a couple of plays that ran in Hollywood. You will be able to see more of Miles in a couple of web series as well as an appearance in the movie "Brother White" and the short film "The Get Away".
