  • Actor/Director Biography Marcello Larsen Camargo e Silva is a SAG-AFTRA affiliated Brazilian actor, writer, producer and director involved in film, theatre, television and commercials.

    Larsen's acting credits range from comedy to drama and thriller, and encompass short films including Changing Lanes, Locked Room, Love Me Sunday and Definitely Maybe, as well as theatre work such as Arthur Miller's View From the Bridge, George Bernard Shaw's Man and Superman, Theresa Rebeck's Mauritius, Franklin W. Dixon's Hardy Boys, Boondock Saints' stage adaptation Boondock Sisters and the Brazilian play Como Assim. He also appeared in the national advertising campaign for Skol beer called The Beach in Brazil.

    Larsen won the 2010 Los Angeles Cinema Festival of Hollywood Narrative Short Award of Merit for Locked Room, for which he was writer, producer and lead actor.

    Marcello speaks fluent English, Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish. His look and languages enable him to play a wide variety of roles -- from Russian to Latino to Hindu or Middle-Eastern, and from romantic comedy lead to bad guy. He also specializes in stage combat techniques and studied a variety of acting methods including Meisner and Stella Adler.
