- Hannes De Maeyer is an award-winning film and television composer working across international productions, from character-driven drama and psychological thrillers to large-scale action and genre storytelling. His recent work includes ITV’s Professor T, the Channel 4 drama Patience, and the Channel 4/Starz series The Couple Next Door, alongside films such as Rebel (Cannes), Gangsta and Black, directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. He is currently composing the score for Winter, a new ITV crime drama starring Richard Armitage and directed by Dries Vos and Kaat Beels.
His music ranges from bold electronic textures and experimental sound design to rich orchestral scores. He is the recipient of a World Soundtrack Award and a Magritte Award for Best Original Score, and continues to work across high-profile international film and television productions.
